We're delighted that James is coming to Bristol to deliver a talk on The Art of War-Fast Track Data Warehouse and Fragmentation. We will learn all about fragmentation from the inside out. James will
take us back to brass tacks so we can
understand how SQL Server handles heaps and clustered indexes, re-visit page allocation and then apply this knowledge to our understanding of fragmentation. He will conclude by looking at some design patterns to help minimise the impact of
fragmentation on our data warehousing projects. Top stuff! |
